Prospel for founders
Your commits already tell the story. Prospel writes it up.
Connect GitHub and every merged pull request becomes a plain-English update note. Prospel drafts X and LinkedIn posts from those notes in your voice, so building in public stops being a second job.
Card required, cancel before day 5 and you pay nothing. Nothing posts without your approval.
#214 Stream CSV exports instead of building them in memory
Merged +182 −64
Big exports now start downloading the moment you click, even at 100,000 rows. Before, they could time out.
You
Draft for X
Shipped in Acme: exports start downloading the moment you click.
No more waiting on a spinner for a big CSV. I rebuilt it to stream rows as they're read.
Sound familiar?
- You ship every week and post once a month.
- Your merged work becomes a steady stream of drafts, so the posting keeps pace with the building.
- Changelogs read like commit messages.
- Notes are written for users, not engineers: what it does now and why it matters.
- AI tools invent traction you don't have.
- Prospel never makes up users, revenue or features. Your numbers are used as you give them, or not at all.
GitHub to posts
From merged pull request to post, without the jargon
Prospel reads the title and description of each merged pull request on the repos you choose and writes a short note on what changed for the people who use it. You switch on the notes worth sharing, and drafts follow.
- Step 1
Connect the repos you pick
Read-only GitHub App access, only to the repos you choose. Anything you leave out stays invisible.
- Step 2
Read the update notes
Dependency bumps, tests and refactors are skipped. Each note arrives switched off until you've read it.
- Step 3
Get drafts that sound like you
Shipped notes become build updates, lessons and decisions in your voice, each one scored for its platform.
Sounds like you. Never makes things up about you.
Opinions, lessons, tips, frameworks and motivation are most of what good accounts post, and Prospel writes plenty of them. They don't need to have happened. Facts about you do.
What you'll get
- What shipped and why it matters
- Lessons from what broke
- Decisions, including the ones you reversed
- Opinions on your market
- Plain-English product explainers
What Prospel never invents
- Results, revenue or figures you didn't give it
- Client names or client results without your permission
- Product features you don't have
- Promises or guarantees to your readers
- Things that happened to you that you never mentioned
Checked in code on every automatic draft. A draft that slips is rewritten once without the claim, or dropped.
How it works
- 1
Show Prospel how you write
Add a few of your best posts and say who you write for. Prospel builds a style guide you can edit, with a separate voice for X and LinkedIn if you want one.
- 2
Connect GitHub
Pick the repos. Merged pull requests sync daily, or whenever you press Sync.
- 3
Approve, and it publishes
Drafts land in your queue in your voice. Edit anything, approve what you like, and Prospel posts to X and LinkedIn at the times you set.

GitHub, the founder questions and the series planner are on every plan. Every plan starts with a 5-day trial.
Common questions
No. The GitHub App asks for read-only access to pull requests and repository metadata on the repos you choose. Each note is written from the pull request's title and description.
Ship it, then say so.
Connect GitHub on day one and see your first update notes before the trial ends. Cancel before day 5 and you won't be charged.
