Prospel is a trading name of Sequel AI Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under registered number 16897137. Our registered address is 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom. When we refer to "Prospel", "we", "us", or "our" in this policy, we mean Sequel AI Ltd.

1. Information We Collect

When you connect your X (Twitter) account via OAuth 1.0a, we collect your public profile information, display name, handle, and profile picture. When you connect your LinkedIn account via OAuth 2.0 with OpenID Connect, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture. We also collect usage data such as features accessed, posts created, and engagement metrics. We collect only what is necessary to operate Prospel.

2. How We Use Your Information

Your data powers our Persona engine, which analyzes your style preferences to generate on-brand content. Posts you approve are published to your connected accounts on your behalf. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3. Chrome Extension

The Prospel Chrome Extension operates on X (Twitter) and LinkedIn pages to provide in-context content creation features. Specifically:

• The extension reads the current page URL to determine which platform you are on (X or LinkedIn only).
• It injects a sidebar interface for composing and drafting posts.
• It communicates with prospel.app using your authenticated session to access your persona and drafts.
• When you click Suggest Reply or Remix, it sends the text of that post (and, for replies, the post and earlier comments in the thread) to Prospel to generate a draft. Nothing is sent until you click.
• It uses the storage permission to cache your session locally.
• It uses the clipboardWrite permission to let you copy generated content.
• It detects which X or LinkedIn profile you are currently viewing to provide the Insights feature. This information is used only to fetch public profile analytics and is not stored or shared.
• It does not read, store, or transmit any content from pages you visit beyond X and LinkedIn.
• It does not track your browsing history or collect data from other websites.

4. Data Processing and Third Parties

We share data only with carefully selected third-party service providers where necessary to operate the platform. Each processor is bound by confidentiality obligations and data processing agreements. These providers operate in the following categories:

• Cloud database and authentication infrastructure — to store your account data, posts, and settings securely
• Payment processing — to handle subscription billing; we never store your card details
• AI content generation — to generate draft posts and analyse your writing style on your behalf
• AI image generation — to create visual assets to accompany your posts
• Transactional email — to send account notifications and system alerts
• Social platforms (X and LinkedIn) — via OAuth for publishing content and retrieving analytics on your behalf

We do not sell your data to any third party. We do not use your data to train third-party AI models. A full list of sub-processors is available on request by contacting [email protected].

5. X (Twitter) Data Usage

We use X's OAuth 1.0a for authentication and posting. We use read access to show your posts, mentions and analytics, and to find posts for features such as Engage Intel. We use write access to publish posts you approve, or that you have set Prospel to publish for you (auto-approve, auto-replies and auto-retweet, all off by default), and to send direct messages you write in Prospel. We do not read your direct messages.

6. LinkedIn Data Usage

Our use of LinkedIn's API complies with LinkedIn's API Terms of Use and Marketing API Program Terms. Prospel (operated by Sequel AI Ltd) accesses LinkedIn data only to provide features to the authenticated user. Specifically:

• w_member_social — to publish posts you explicitly approve to your LinkedIn profile.
• r_organization_social — to retrieve aggregate engagement data (impressions, likes, comments, shares, clicks) for posts you have published via Prospel. This data is displayed only in your own Prospel analytics dashboard.
• r_1st_connections_size — to display your LinkedIn follower and connection count in your dashboard.

We do not access your LinkedIn messages, connections list, or private data. LinkedIn member profile data belonging to other members (such as those who engage with your posts) is not stored. Aggregate engagement metrics for your own posts are retained for up to one year to provide analytics trend views, in accordance with LinkedIn's Data Storage Requirements for reporting data.

LinkedIn data is never combined with third-party data, used for advertising or recruiting purposes, exported to third parties, or used in social feed displays on external websites. You can disconnect your LinkedIn account and request deletion of associated data at any time via [email protected].

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from your Account page, or by contacting [email protected]. Deleting your account cancels any subscription and permanently removes your personal data, generated posts, uploaded files and OAuth tokens.

8. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. OAuth tokens are stored securely and can be revoked at any time through your Profile settings.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time. You can disconnect social accounts from your Profile settings. You can delete your account yourself from your Account page. For data export, contact [email protected].
