For builders
Your voice, available to every agent you use
Prospel already knows how you write and what has actually happened on your journey. The MCP server and REST API let the AI tools you work in use that, and drop finished posts into your Prospel drafts or queue.
Included on every paid plan. Create a key under Account → API & MCP.
Write where you work
Ask your coding agent to turn today's commit into a post. It reads your voice first, then saves a draft for you to review.
Script your queue
Schedule posts from a CI job, a spreadsheet or a cron. Plain JSON over HTTPS.
Same guardrails
Tags of other accounts are removed at publish, and your voice comes with the rule to tell only true stories.
1. Create a key
In Prospel, open Account, name a key and copy it. Keys start with psk_, are shown once, and can be revoked at any time. You can have five.
2. Connect over MCP
Server URL: https://www.prospel.app/api/mcp. It uses the Streamable HTTP transport and authenticates with your key as a bearer token, so any MCP client that can send an Authorization header works.
Claude Code
claude mcp add --transport http prospel https://www.prospel.app/api/mcp \
--header "Authorization: Bearer psk_your_key"Cursor (~/.cursor/mcp.json)
{
"mcpServers": {
"prospel": {
"url": "https://www.prospel.app/api/mcp",
"headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer psk_your_key" }
}
}
}Then try: "Read my Prospel voice and draft an X post about what we shipped today. Save it as a draft."
| prospel_get_voice | Your about, audience, style rules, example posts, pillars and true stories for X or LinkedIn |
| prospel_create_post | Save a draft, or schedule it straight into your queue |
| prospel_update_post | Edit, schedule or unschedule a draft or queued post |
| prospel_list_posts / prospel_get_post | Read drafts, the queue and published posts with their metrics |
| prospel_delete_post | Remove a draft or queued post (published posts are left alone) |
| prospel_add_story | Add a true story to your story bank |

| prospel_get_analytics | Totals, top posts and follower change for the last N days |
| prospel_whoami | Which accounts are connected |
3. Or call the REST API
Base URL: https://www.prospel.app/api/v1. Send JSON, get { data } back, or { error, message } with a matching HTTP status.
curl -X POST https://www.prospel.app/api/v1/posts \
-H "Authorization: Bearer psk_your_key" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"platform":"x","content":"Shipped: ...","scheduled_for":"2026-11-02T15:30:00-05:00"}'| GET /me | Connected accounts and timezone |
| GET /posts?status=&platform=&limit= | status: draft, scheduled, published, failed or any |
| POST /posts | { content, platform?, scheduled_for?, image_url? } |
| GET /posts/{id} | One post |
| PATCH /posts/{id} | { content?, scheduled_for? (null = back to drafts), image_url? } |
| DELETE /posts/{id} | Drafts and scheduled posts only |
| GET /voice?platform= | Voice, examples and story bank |
| POST /stories | { title, details, kind?, when? } |
| GET /schedule | Slots and the next 30 queued posts |

- X posts follow your account tier (280 characters on a free X account); LinkedIn posts up to 3,000 characters.
- Posts created through the API publish through the same queue as everything else, so your daily limits and pauses still apply.
