    The short version

    Choose Typefully if

    • you want to write and schedule yourself, with AI as an assistant rather than a drafter
    • you also post to Threads, Bluesky or Mastodon
    • you work with a team that comments on and approves drafts together
    • you want to start on a free plan

    Choose Prospel if

    • you want a queue of drafts written for you in your voice, from your own stories
    • you want each draft scored and cleaned of common AI-writing tells before you see it
    • you post on X and LinkedIn only and want separate voices for each

What Typefully offers that Prospel doesn't

    • Five platforms: X, LinkedIn, Threads, Bluesky and Mastodon.
    • A free plan.
    • Team collaboration: comments, mentions, shared drafts and Slack notifications.
    • A Mac app, polls, LinkedIn PDF carousels, Auto-Plug and Auto-RT.

    How Prospel approaches writing

    Personal stories in posts
Only from your own story bank (your answers) and your GitHub pull requests. Drafts with invented first-person anecdotes are rejected in code.
    AI-writing tells removed
Code-enforced rules remove em dashes, hashtags, markdown asterisks, "It's not X, it's Y" and reflexive closing questions from every draft.
    Draft scoring
Oracle Score (0 to 100) on every draft. On X it follows X's open-sourced ranking code; on LinkedIn, LinkedIn's public statements about its feed.
    Publishing control
Nothing posts without your approval unless you switch on auto-approve. Replies to mentions are drafted when you ask, and you post them yourself.
