Prospel is an AI ghostwriter for X and LinkedIn: it learns how you write, drafts posts from things that really happened and publishes them on a schedule you approve.

    The short version

    Choose Buffer if

    • you post to many networks, such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube or Pinterest
    • you want a free plan or low per-channel pricing
    • you work in a team that needs approvals and access levels

    Choose Prospel if

    • you focus on X and LinkedIn and want drafts written for you in your voice
    • you want posts drawn only from your own stories, with invented anecdotes blocked
    • you want each draft scored before it goes out

What Buffer offers that Prospel doesn't

    • Twelve channels, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, Threads, Bluesky, Mastodon and Substack.
    • A free plan for up to 3 channels.
    • Low per-channel pricing ($5 a month a channel on Essentials).
    • Team members, access levels and content approval workflows on the Team plan.
    • A community inbox.

    How Prospel approaches writing

    Personal stories in posts
Only from your own story bank (your answers) and your GitHub pull requests. Drafts with invented first-person anecdotes are rejected in code.
    AI-writing tells removed
Code-enforced rules remove em dashes, hashtags, markdown asterisks, "It's not X, it's Y" and reflexive closing questions from every draft.
    Draft scoring
Oracle Score (0 to 100) on every draft. On X it follows X's open-sourced ranking code; on LinkedIn, LinkedIn's public statements about its feed.
    Publishing control
Nothing posts without your approval unless you switch on auto-approve. Replies to mentions are drafted when you ask, and you post them yourself.
